Head of SaaS Operations

A monitoring and observability software company whose platforms keep business-critical infrastructure running for major financial institutions. They are building a Bring Your Own Cloud platform that lets customers run the software inside their own AWS, Azure or GCP environment while the vendor keeps the visibility needed to manage, support and upgrade it. You architect it, build it, and deploy it with the first customers. This is not a traditional internal DevOps role.

• The architecture and technical roadmap for the BYOC platform
• A secure, repeatable Kubernetes-based deployment model
• Technical discovery and architecture workshops with enterprise customers
• Early implementations from proof of concept through to production
• Automated installation, configuration, upgrade, rollback and disaster recovery
• Standards for security, reliability, observability and supportability

• Deep production Kubernetes: designing, deploying, operating and troubleshooting
• EKS, AKS or GKE, plus Helm, Kustomize, ingress, RBAC, storage, networking and secrets
• Experience deploying into customer-owned or highly controlled environments
• Terraform and GitOps with Argo CD or Flux
• Strong Linux, networking, IAM and security
• Python or Bash, and observability tooling such as Prometheus or Grafana
• Credibility with senior enterprise stakeholders
